Cancellation and Refund Policy

Domestic Orders –

Cancellation before receiving product :

  1. In case there is an order cancellation, please do so before it is shipped. Please write to us on the email address of our company mentioning the cancellation and reason for the same along with the order details. We will try to clarify your queries if there is any problem from our end. We will process the full refund in the account number given by you within 7 days. Shipping charges are non-refundable once the order is dispatched.

Cancellation after receiving product :

Ocau products are solely handcrafted by the artisans residing in various parts of rural India, making each and every product very unique. There might be  weave irregularities with certain products , that’s the beauty of handloom. We stand behind  the quality of our product , and your products will be replaced ,if you are not satisfied with the purchase for any reason.

  1. Manufacturing fault –  At Oca-u we pay attention to every piece and try to deliver with perfection. In case if there is a product defect from our end then we will exchange the products for you..
  1. Incorrect size –  We can alter or exchange items if the garment received is of incorrect size and doesn’t fit you as per your order.

If the above circumstances apply to you then you must write to us within 48 hours of delivery of the product. Please send us an email with your order details and attach the image for the reason of exchange to make the process simpler.

Please Note:  All custom made orders & sale items are non-exchangeable. The non-returnable items are not exchangeable and refundable.

 

CLAIMING REFUNDS – 

For credit card/debit card/ net banking or paypal transactions:

  1. We will provide a refund into the original mode of payment.
  2. If applicable , refunds would be made for the cost of the goods to the credit/ debit cards used for online shopping. However shipping charges wouldn’t be refunded except where we have sent you wrong items (style/color/size).

For COD (Cash on Delivery) transactions :

  1. Refunds will be done through  E- voucher/ credit coupon.
  2. Customer has to request a reverse pickup.

NO REFUNDS WILL GIVEN  BE FOR THE FOLLOWING CASES:

  1. Color variations or minor fabric variations. As the products are handloom there will always be some variations.
  2. Incorrect delivery address from the customer’s end.
  3. After three delivery attempts by courier.
  4. Package refused by the recipient.
  5. Products returned in used / damaged condition.

**NOTE:  Refunds will only be processed after we receive the returned shipment except for the packages which are lost in transit.**

 

International Orders

Cancellation Policy :

Refund :

We will process the full refund in the account number given by you within 7 days, if the order is still not dispatched. Once dispatched your refund will not be processed.
